1993 bis 2002, etablierte ich mich mit meiner Produktionsfirma Time Zone International Inc. in Manhattan als Produzentin, Dokumentarfilmerin und Journalistin für deutsche und internationale journalistische Fernsehformate.

1987 – 1992, parallel neben meinem Studium der Theater-, Film- und Fernsehwissenschaften an der Ruhr Universität Bochum, machte ich meine ersten praktischen TV-Erfahrungen, als Kamera- und  Regieassistentin.

Seit 1992 arbeite ich als freie TV Journalistin und Produzentin und Fotografin.

 

 

ABOUT ME:

• I direct and produce documentaries and reportages internationally for the main public channels in Germany. I also work as a photo journalist, media consultant and television format developer.
• The topics and formats are diverse, focusing on human interest stories, adventure- and travel documentaries and news.

I have worked as a freelance journalist and television producer since 1992. After having studied Theatre -, Film – and Television Science at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany, I started my career as a camera- and director’s assistant for TV commercials, progressing to become a freelance TV producer and documentary filmmaker.

1993 I moved permanently to the United States and founded the TV production company Time Zone International Inc. in Manhattan. Based in New York, I continued my work for German TV channels and worked internationally as a filmmaker and photographer.

In 2002, I moved back to Germany to work as a freelance director and producer for German and international TV channels and production companies.

I am now based in Berlin, continuing my work as a TV author/director and producer internationally.
